The Middletown Chamber of Commerce is a rapidly growing organization with a focus on assisting businesses in the Middletown community.  The Chamber helps to promote and advance the commercial, retail, agricultural, industrial and civic interests of our community with an emphasis on promoting new business.

Summary

Responsible for providing administrative support to the organization by assisting the Executive Director, the Events Coordinator and the Board of Directors.  Duties will include, but are not limited to, maintaining the computer database (Weblink), coordinating monthly newsletters, communicating with members, developing lunch programs, maintaining social media accounts and updating the Chamber website. The individual will also be responsible for answering and managing all calls into the Chamber office as well as greeting anyone coming into the office.

The individual should be self-motivated, hands-on, and organized with a positive attitude.  Familiarity with Weblink or the ability to learn new computer skills is a must.

Hours would average 40 per week with possible need for occasional overtime.
